Solar bird Proofing Services in Sheffield & Surrounding Areas
We are a solar company first, with over 10 years’ experience installing solar systems. This knowledge allows us to work safely around live solar systems and live wires. We have the experience and know-how to remove pigeons and nests from under the solar system.
The area can then be treated with biocide if required, killing any bacteria. Once the pigeons have been removed from under the solar system, we will take all the necessary measurements ready for the solar bird mesh to be cut to size on the ground.
This approach allows for an exact, custom fit of the solar bird guarding mesh and a neat finish, with no points of access for pigeons to get back under the panels, whilst at the same time allowing air to circulate under the panels and rainwater to drain away.
The mesh we use is premium EnviroGuard solar bird mesh. This is designed for solar panel pigeon proofing. It is a 16-gauge mesh that is heavy enough that pigeons cannot lift it. The mesh is first galvanised, then coated with black PVC for extra weather protection.
The mesh is installed using Solar Fast Fix clips that are UV rated, so they will not deteriorate in prolonged sunlight, even after years. This is a complete system that requires no drilling into your solar panels, helping to keep your solar panel warranty intact.
Solar panels come with many different-sized frames, from 45mm all the way down to the modern 30mm frames. For this reason, we stock and carry every size of clip.
We also offer solar panel cleaning as part of the service to keep your solar panels generating at their maximum potential, and gutter cleaning to get rid of the build up of pigeon faeces and restore water drainage for your roof and gutters.

before
stop pigeons under your solar panels
Pigeons nesting under solar panels can cause a build up of faeces and twigs, which can block the necessary ventilation and drainage. This build-up can then wash down the roof and block the gutters. Then there’s the noise.
Solar panel netting and solar panel mesh can help solve these problems by preventing pigeons from gaining access underneath your solar panels.
After
After with pigeon proofing
After installation of pigeon guards for your solar panels, you will no longer have pigeons making an untold amount of noise under your solar system, and you will no longer have to worry about pigeon faeces washing down the roof and blocking your gutters.

5 stars via google reviews
I contacted Solar Pigeon Proofing Service after pigeons started nesting under my solar panels making an absolute mess of the roof and gutters. From the first call for a free quote, the service was spot on.
They arrived on time, were very professional, and explained exactly what the problem was and how they’d fix it. The team installed steel mesh pigeon proofing with no drilling, which was a big relief as I didn’t want any damage to my panels or roof. They also removed all the droppings and cleaned the gutters as part of the job.
